The second discussion of the week features Alfredo Brillembourg, talking about: What Really is the Periphery?Born in New York, architect Alfredo Brillembourg heads up the Urban-Think Tank (U-TT), which is a cutting-edge interdisciplinary design firm in Caracas, Venezuela. The focus is on innovation and sustainability for projects reaching out to squatter settlements, including those resulting from migrations. In New York, he set up the Sustainable Living Urban Model – SLUM Lab.
